Hello, my relatives! I greet you with a happy heart and welcome you to my corner of the world. My name is Rachel Lane Evangelisto, and I’m an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Nation. I’m a proud Lakota woman and am honored to be the 86th Miss Minnesota.

Authentic. Dedicated. Passionate.
As the first-ever Indigenous Miss Minnesota, I am proud to center my year around community & culture with my Social Impact Initiative, Celebrating Culture & Driving Diversity.
Let’s Work Together!
Motivational speaking is a passion of mine and I love discussing my cultural journey, racial justice, and Miss America journey. I’m a certified Racial Justice Facilitator with the YWCA of Minneapolis and have delivered dozens of keynote addresses.
Beyond keynotes, I’ve worked with grade K-12 to talk about how diversity makes us stronger and embracing our differences through my platform, “Celebrating Culture & Driving Diversity”. I’d love to bring this fun, interactive, and educational program to a school near you!
Need an emcee? Pick me! I can bring fun, passion, and humor to any event.
